Meet Vivi

Hi, I’m Vivi. I’m the youngest of three siblings and a dual citizen of the United States and Brazil. I grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, but Recife, my mother’s hometown and home to much of my extended family, has always been an important part of my life. Growing up between two cultures has shaped how I think about family, community, and belonging.

As the youngest, I learned early to find my voice and often to use humor to do it. I’m happiest when I’m around people, whether I’m discussing a current issue in class, competing alongside my teammates, mentoring younger students, or testing a new joke in front of an audience. I care deeply about what I do, but I try not to take myself too seriously.
